Simon and Even were looking for local home-service providers themselves. They found individual business websites that made it difficult to compare options, and marketplaces that meant filling in forms and waiting for replies.
Finding someone was only part of the job. Explaining the work, answering questions and getting a booking agreed still took time and follow-up. They wanted a more straightforward way to connect a customer with the right service provider.
That experience led them to create getgardeningquotes.com: a marketplace connecting people who need gardening work with gardening providers across the UK, built around a WhatsApp conversation.
The aim is practical on both sides. Customers should be able to arrange the job they need at a competitive price with less chasing. Gardening businesses should have a simpler way to receive relevant requests, organise bookings and fill available spaces in their calendars.

Our WhatsApp agent brings together the postcode, photos, access details and job priorities, then helps coordinate the next steps through to booking. The conversation gives providers context and customers a clearer view of what will be done and what it will cost.
We welcome enquiries for private gardens and other properties where the person arranging the work has authority to do so. If a garden is shared or rented, explain who can approve the work before making changes.

Our city guides help you consider local access and waste questions. The company’s registered office in Brighton is an address for company correspondence. It is not a gardening branch or a place to bring garden waste.
Before money changes hands
Know what the quote includes.
Ask for a written description of the tasks, the expected finish and the total price. Clarify materials, waste removal, access and timing. Check the provider’s relevant experience and insurance for the specific work you want.
Super’s separate deposit is based on the job value and is additional to the gardener’s price. You pay it through Stripe, which handles your card details, and pay the gardener their full agreed price directly. If the job is cancelled, your Super deposit is refunded.
